Puhuri Oy is a Finnish wind power company which produces clean energy for its owners. Puhuri is owned by 27 local power utilities.

We develop, build, operate and own wind parks built on environmentally sensible solutions.

Puhuri Oy sisters and subsidiaries

Puhuri Oy has established sister companies to run our largest, industrial-scale wind power projects. The purpose behind converting projects into separate companies was to gain efficiency in project management, especially in terms of financial management and future investments.

Our sister companies are Piipsan Tuulivoima Oy, Suhangon Tuulivoima Oy and Yhteistuuli Oy.

Our subsidiaries include Vetelin Tuulivoima Oy, Tuulikaarron Voima Oy, Kannuksen Hietakangas Oy and Raahen Monivoima Oy.

Piipsan Tuulivoima Oy

Piipsan Tuulivoima Oy is the project company owning wind park projects of Tuulikaarto and Piipsa.

The Tuulikaarto project area is located in the southern part of the Siikalatva municipality and the northern part of the Kärsämäki municipality. A maximum of 55 wind turbines of max 300 metres in tip height are being planned for this area.

The Piipsa project area is located in the eastern part of the town of Haapavesi, bordering with the municipal boundaries of Kärsämäki and Siikalatva. 39 wind turbines of max 300 metres in tip height have been zoned for this area.

 

Suhangon Tuulivoima Oy

Suhangon Tuulivoima Oy is the project company owning the wind park project of Suhanko.

The project area is located in the north-western parts of the municipality of Ranua, in the proximity of the municipal borders of Simo and Tervola. A maximum of 35 wind turbines reaching max 300 metres in tip height have been zoned for this area.

 

Yhteistuuli Oy

The Yhteistuuli wind park project run by Yhteistuuli Oy consists of two areas, Pärjä and Kivari. The areas are located approximately 25–35 kilometres northeast of the town of Pudasjärvi.

A maximum of 35 wind turbines have been zoned for the Kivari area, while circa 20 wind turbines are being planned for the Pärjä area.

The wind turbines will reach a maximum of 300 metres in tip height.

 

Vetelin Tuulivoima Oy

Vetelin Tuulivoima Oy is the project company owning the Löytöneva wind park project.

The project area is located in the southeastern part of the municipality of Veteli, some 15 kilometres from the town of Veteli.

A wind park of eight wind turbines has been planned for this area.

 

Tuulikaarron Voima Oy

Tuulikaarron Voima Oy is the project company owning the wind park projects of Keso and Kaukanen.

The Keso wind park of seven Vestas V162 wind turbines is located in Haapavesi. The total capacity of the park reaches 42 MW.

The wind park of Kaukanen is located in Kannus. It consists of eight Vestas V162 wind turbines and it produces a total capacity of 45 MW.

Keso and Kaukanen wind parks were taken into commercial use in the beginning of 2023.


Kannuksen Hietakangas Oy

Kannuksen Hietakangas Oy is building a 5 MW solar power park in Hietakangas, Kannus. The solar park consist of more than 8000 double sided solar panels.

The park is scheduled to be in commercial production at the end of 2024.

 

Raahen Monivoima Oy

Raahen Monivoima Oy is preparing a project that combines the storage of electricity produced with wind and solar energy, a green hydrogen production plant and a hydrogen storage facility.

The wholeness is optimized with an intelligent control system, which enables responding to the electricity grid’s flexibility needs.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment granted the project 5,7 M € in support for energy investments.
