Puhuri is preparing to expand the Keso wind park in Haapavesi toward the west, south and east of the current area. The expansion area is mainly located in the wind power area 363 of the regional plan. In connection with the upcoming EIA process, it will be established whether the component master plan of the current Keso wind park would have potential for further development.
According to the expansion plan, eight new wind turbines will be built in the area. The zoning plan was approved in November 2022.
