Puhuri Oy’s Kopsa 3 and Ketunperä projects transfer to new owner – Puhuri continues as local contact for the wind farms

The Kopsa 3 and Ketunperä projects developed by Puhuri are being transferred to TOWII Renewables. TOWII Renewables is a joint venture between the Danish energy company EWII and the Japanese Tokyo Gas. TOWII Renewables will continue the development of the projects in collaboration with Puhuri Oy.

The acquisition is part of TOWII Renewables’ commitment to clean transition energy projects. Additionally, the projects strengthen Tokyo Gas’s vision to significantly increase its renewable energy capacity by 2030. The Kopsa 3 and Ketunperä projects acquired from Puhuri Oy are part of this vision.

The Kopsa 3 and Ketunperä projects are in Raahe. Preparatory work for the construction of both projects has been initiated by Puhuri Oy. A total of 12 wind turbines will be installed in the area, and their operational activities are expected to begin in the first half of 2027.

“We are very pleased with this collaboration with TOWII Renewables, which allows us to promote the construction of renewable and clean energy in Finland. There is plenty of potential here, and it is great that the projects we have developed can now move forward,” says Tuomas Ylimaula, CEO of Puhuri Oy.

Puhuri will continue to serve as the local contact for the Kopsa 3 and Ketunperä projects, and in the future, for the wind farms.
