The Hukanpalo wind park project is run by Suomen Voima Oy, a shareholder of Puhuri Oy.
The project area is located in the eastern parts of the Siikajoki municipality, bordering the municipal boundaries of Raahe and Siikalatva. According to the preliminary plan, the area will have approximately 30 wind turbines of max 300 metres in tip height.
Environmental impact assessments and wind measurements were conducted in the area during 2021. Suomen Voima is currently conducting further preliminary studies and mapping various project options.
